Most of the color in this group comes from the clay. Little color was added except for a touch of Rub'n Buff metallic wax on a couple of them and powdered pigments on one of the leaves. If I do use paints it is acrylics.
The glass pieces are usually called glass gems. They are like marbles that melted into flat drops and can be found at arts and crafts stores and many other places. They are relatively inexpensive too.
