Wow! I envy your skills!
Question: Is that whole cover (the maroon/red cover) made of clay also? If so, how do they stick with the book/notebook cover? Just glue or it's part of curing the clay?

Thank you! Yes, the entire front and back of the book was covered in clay! I removed the spiral and set aside the pages and just baked the clay on the front and back cover. I was a little nervous the first time I did it because I wasn't sure if it would burst into flames in the oven but it didn't! You just have to be careful as books that are bound with glue will fall apart if baked. Many time, I will bake my clay decoration separately and then glue it to the cover with Weldbond adhesive.
