Description
A little paper book box (looks like a book but is really a box) that I decorated with polymer clay. Nearly all of the color comes from blends of clay. The only paint I used was a black wash of acrylic (kind of like adding grout to a mosaic) and the center gold area is metallic paint on the black clay.
This was an idea that came to me as I was drifting off to sleep one night.
I think I should have called this 'Lotta Dots' LOL! It was really just an abstract design and about two thirds of the way into it I saw what looked to me like a peacock in there and the colors were right so.....the name was born.

Wow...that's impressive! I bet a lot of work went into all those little dots....I use polymer clay a good bit so I know it's a real winner in terms of what it can do....The 2 cabochons (that's what I heard stones referred to as) really make for a good focal point.
