Mosaic polymer clay ACEO 2D by MandarinMoon Mosaic polymer clay ACEO 2D by MandarinMoon
The fourth in a series of ACEOs made with polymer clay, glass gems, and jewelry pieces. Not even sure what to call these! Kind of like doodles in clay....? LOL

your work is so beautiful! I just started working with polymer clay and I have a quick question. When you bake it, you bake it with the jewels and what not in it already? Do you put the metal pieces in their too? It won't explode or anything? (sorry if this is a stupid question ^.^) Thanks so much!

Thank you very much! I bake it with the glass, watches, metal etc in the clay. Nothing has exploded or caught fire yet LOL! You can include anything that will not melt or burn at the low temp you cure the clay at. Just use your best judgment. Never use the microwave to cure the clay!!

That would be awesome! When I first started working with polymer clay, I used a spray can for my roller and an old glass cutting board to work on. I threw in glass gems (which are inexpensive) and bits of old jewelry and stuff. You really don't have to spend alot of money. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Lot's of detail! If you throw a hole in the middle it'd be a VERY fancy light switch cover :)

I find it looks like a futuristic card or a 3D picture of some unknown universe. It is awsome!
