The pendant is made of polymer clay and metal and the necklace has freshwater pearls, glass and wood beads and the sweetest little brass acorn beads. :D

The piece is very beautiful. I think it would look better on a desaturated solid backround. The dots hurt my eyes...

Thank you! For some reason, photographing some things on this paper makes the color 'truer' and I don't have to fiddle with the color to get it right. :D It is the only reason why I use it.

Very nice. Love the color choice on this pendant and all the design detail. I just ordered a book on how to make my work more textured. It just so neat seeing what can be done with clay.

Hi, the name of the book I got is called the art of polymer clay creative surface effects and I may be getting one they suggested called Polymer Clay surface Design Recipes (Quarry Books, 2005). I really want to get better at working with clay. I read some of the book so far and its pretty informational.

I want to use liquid clay with other materials and then make them into interesting beads. Also want to know how to transfer images onto clay. I watched a youtube video once and I tried it several times and the ink never stayed on the clay. I even tried liquid sculpey with an image from my ink jet and then baked it and washed the image off only to get something that really didn't look good at all and of course all the color came off and left me with a barely there black and white image.

I am a photographer and do a lot of abstract art that I think would look good in bead or pendant form rather then as a stand alone image. I hope that helps, your work is quite beautiful.

Ooh, one thing I do know about image transfer is that you have to use images printed on a laser printer. I was disappointed to learn this as I have an ink jet too.

I that's just the thing. I watched the video and it was from a ink jet printer and it still came off the clay. I also took the liquid sculpey and used it and it worked but you loose the color. This book I got says there are several ways to do transfers with an ink jet or a lazer.

As for lazer printer I can make the image up and go to office depo and they can print it off for me. If its my own design they will print it. Some times they wont print it if its work of another person (copyritht) but if its your own work they can do it. I just designed a label for my bath salts and hey printed it off for me and it turned out looking so professional. I plan to make another one for a plastic container I just got today for making different bath salts. It only cost me .85 cents to print it on nice sticker paper.
